problem with AR...plz help

im using cce with avs, here is the script,

the dvd AR is 1.85:1

now, when i rip this the AR of the rip goes abit squezed,(smaller than the original AR) leaving my stumbled...

anyone got any idea..plz help

my AVISYNTH is a little rusty, but it looks like you are resizing a 480x360 avi to 480x480 (by adding black borders), which means your m2v should be a 4:3 SVCD with 1.85:1 letterboxed into the actual frames??

which means you should be selecting the 4:3 AR not 16:9 in CCE.
