Just wondering if there is a way to change the audio sync with a movie without encoding it all over again. The Voices are off by a little and i just wanted to fix that
thnx

Is it off by same amount throughout the movie or does it gradually get worse? It makes a difference in how you fix it.

I'm also getting bad sync issues using gknot and making NTSC WindTalkers. The movie starts out in sync but then gets gradually worse, the video and audio are the exact same length. I just cannot figure out what is wrong. Here's my process:

Rip with DVD Decrypter
DVD2AVI using ForceFilm and Demux AC3
First method was to use GKnot, out of sync
Next method was to use VirtualDub, out of sync

I have know idea what could be causing it.

Anyone with any ideas???

I dont know if this helps, but I also use GordianKnot to convert Windtalkers to DivX5 and the sync is good. Are your other movies also out of sync or jsut this one.

Hi-

In DVD2AVI-Audio, did you have 48->44.1Khz turned on? I've heard of cases where downsampling has caused Asynch.

Here was the problem...I was using the IfoEdit/CCE guide for DVD9-DVD5 and I mistakenly used the 'ifoedited' files to make the DivX, not the original VOBs. Once I realized that, I switched to the original VOBs and everything is fine. Thanks for all the help folks.
