View Full Version : How To Use IFO EDIT to Create IFO Files

I have just successfully ripped the Black Adder Series 1-3 DVDs (6 episodes per dvd). In each case the DVD had at least 6 IFO files which corresponded to the 6 espiodes on each disc. In each case I manually selected the IFO file on the CONVERSION tab and ripped each episode separately.

The Black Adder Goes Fourth DVD also contains 6 episodes however it only contains 2 IFO files being:

VIDEO_TS.IFO
VTS_01_0.IFO

The disc also has 8 VOB files 6 of which seem are obviously for the 6 episodes. I initially selected VTS_01_0.IFO (not knowing there was only 2 IFO files) and I managed to successfully rip espisode 1. However given that there arent IFO for the other 5 episodes how do I rip them?

Can I use IFOEDIT to create the missing IFO files? If so how to I do this? ALternatively how do I rip the individual episodes (which each have about 6 chapters).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First of all, 1 set of VOB files come with 1 IFO file, not 1 VOB file.

What you need to do is:
1. Rip all those VOB files to your hard disc.
2. check the file size of all those VOB files, it should be less than 4.37GB.
3. Use IfoEdit to create the new IFO files.
4. Burn to your DVD-R.
