About link2 and avisynth...

I can't understand the use of link2. It is supposed to run on CCE correct?? Well, with Avisynth 2.06 I can open the avs without creating an ecl..So what's the ise? Is it faster??

If you're only using CCE, TMPGEnc and Virtual Dub, you have no need for Link2 - other apps may need link2 to be able to open AviSynth files. There's no speed gain using Link2, AFAIK.
