Hi there:

After searching the forum, I couldn't find anything that exactly duplicated my issue, so I thought I'd post here.

I have been using IFOEdit for quite some time now an an old Duron 900 machine with WinXP Pro with no problems whatsoever. I just upgraded to a XP2200, with WinXP Pro SP1, and I'm having some issues.

Here's my setup:
ASUS7V333
512Mb PC2700
Athlon XP2200
WinXP Pro SP1

I know that Derrow has admitted that there are issues with XP, but I find it odd that it's only in some places. Like I said, I had it working before.

Anyway, I seem to be able to edit ifos with no problem, changing first-plays, getting VTS Sectors, etc ... However, when I try to strip streams, or create ifos, it opens the two dialogs (open, and save) and then just sits there. It doesn't do anything.

Here's what I've tried:
- Changed from NTFS to FAT 32 (no luck)
- Running in all the different compatibility modes (no luck)
- using previous releases of IFOEdit (also nada)

Has anyone seen/fixed this? Or am I going to have to wait for the XP Certified release? Anyone know when this is expected? Is this the 10/14 one?

Derrow, thanks for all your hard work. You really don't appreciate what you have until it's gone. I'll be sending in my donation to speed along the XP release.

I don't think, this is a XP issue.

Just make sure, your VOB files are named DVD-spec accordingly ;)
like VTS_xx_x.VOB.

Derrow, right on the money. Boy do I feel silly. I started using the new DVDDecrypter at the same time as I got the new machine. DVDDecrypter in ifo mode gives funky names to the vobs. I just renamed them and it worked fine.

Thanks for the advice!
