Hello everyone,
First post. I have gone thru a myriad posts and have not read about anyone else with this problem. I use smartripper- option to demux to extra file to make 1 m2v and 1 ac3 file that can be loaded into dvdit pe to burn a DVD. This has worked perfect in the past. With Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon the AC3 file is fine but the M2V file doesn't play well, it will freeze an image as in slow motion then play way too fast and so on. I tried several players and they all do the same thing. I tried to rip by chapters and same result. Other options in Smartripper do not do this, if I select to burn to VOB file the image and sound will be perfect. This only happens when trying to demux to an extra M2V file and so far only with this particular DVD. Problem is also that DVDit PE is very picky about file sources and renaming a VOB file to MPG does not work at least in this particular case.
Anyone else have this ripping problem, and if so Can it be fixed?
