I have 10 movies on DivX 3,4 and 2 on DivX5.
Can any of you help me to make this moves to MPEG-4?

This is kind of funny. Your DivX5-movies _ARE_ MPEG-4, already. MPEG4 is just a standard, an assortment of techniques, that DivX5 complies with. DivX4 is _almost_ compliant. You can re-encode your DivX3-movies by opening them in VirtualDub and encoding them with an MPEG4-compliant codec like XviD or DivX5. But you'd inevitably loose some quality there, so why do it?

Thanks for your help. But when i try to play this movies with DivX Player 2.0, return a error (No MPEG-4 file).
With Media Player and Zoom i hav'not any problem.

I'm afraid, I can't help you with this one because I don't know DivX-Player.

DivX Player is the player from DivX Networks, the original player who comes with DivX 5 PRO codec.

DivX5? Never heard of it. But seriously, I haven't used it since DivX4.11. Nobody does...

Possibly you're trying to open an .avi as if it were an .mp4-file? Sorry, really just guessing, as I said... In that case it's just a question of the container. Software to transform AVIs into MPEG4-streams is around, just search for it in the download-section.

Hi-

1. Do you have the proper codecs installed?
2. Don't use that crap player. Try WMP6.4, BS Player or anything else.

hi,
i am not sure that was the reponse u search :) but i think mp4creator60 can convert a .avi (encoded with the divx4 codec) into an .mp4 file, just give a shot to the doom9 guide.
