OK, I've been reading, and reading, and now I'm more confused than ever. I've been able to backup a copy of my movies, but there are a couple that I can't. How do I, or can I strip out the streams? Or do I need those things, not to mention how do I know which ones I can omit. Can ANYONE help me out.

Thanks

Hi DNICE1-Welcome to the forums

You'll have to tell us a bit more-we're not mind readers. What are you trying to do-make DVD-Rs, DivX, SVCDs, what? It sounds like DVD-R, but I'm not sure. And you've already read all of Doom9's DVD Guides? (http://www.doom9.org/mpg/dvdr-guides.htm)?

Oh yes my FAVORITE thing, "Guides". Yes I'm trying to do DVD+r, DVD-r, hell I even have DVD+RW, along with some 9.4 GB.

So you've already seen Doom9's IFOEdit Basics Guide (http://www.doom9.org/mpg/ifoedit-basic.htm#stripaudio)?

Then how about Derrow's Site (http://mpucoder.dynodns.net/Derrow/index.html)?

Yes, I can say that, after the 5 days of hell, some things are clearer. But it's the stripping down of the movie, I can't pick up. I'll read some more if that's the advice you have, or are trying to give. I'm only giving this another week. I think 3 weeks of slamming my head up against a brick, reinforced with steel, wall. Right now 15 bucks to buy another copy of the movie doesn't sound bad at all.
