Need guide for ripping Robocop plz

Hello All,

I've bought the Robobcop 3 disc Trilogy set and i'm having trouble converting the Directors cut for playback on my laptop.

I've read the other questions concerning this problem, but there arent any definitive answers.

I've got......
Latest DVD decryptor, Smart Ripper and CladDVD
Also
Vstrip 0.8(?)and IfoEdit 0.9

So, i've got the vobs on my hd, stream processed using DVD Decrpytor which only contain the m2v and ac3 files.

What do i do next please?

Any help would be gratly appreciated and save me a long sleepless night.

it's now time to decide which format you want to convert it to divx or (s)vcd, then read the guides on how to do it.

Heres what I did.....

Ripped using Dvd Decryptor with stream processing enabled, so the resultant vobs only contained the *.m2v and English AC3 streams.

Then I loaded the IFO and vobs into v_strip GUI, and chose split by CELL ID.

I ended up with 38 smaller vobs, then played them back with PowerDVD and just renamed them into the logical sequence.
At the end of all of this, the film consisted of 33 vobs, the other five (which were at the beginning of the first vob as I remember) were five sequences with the Directors Cut material in them, which I used instead of the original theatrical sequences.

The Directors Cut IS NOT 1h 59m long, that figure is the running time of the unaltered vobs, the repeated sequences make up the extra 22 or so minutes.
The true running time of the DC version is 1h58m50s give or take a few seconds.

*Note to self - buy a dvd rom for my laptop, so I dont have to go through this codswhallop!
