About the internal scalings

You have said in the past to use linear for internal (high/low:0/0)..Why was that?Is it something broken in the other scalings?Or you have said it to compare it with you statsreader??

For one reason it's for comparison, and then again it's for achieving mostly constant quality which is the goal of 2pass encoding.

Please use PM for such things next time, this thread looks a little strange ;)
