I have an AVI movie that is a few MB too long to fit on a CD-R. If i get rid of the credits it should fit. Is there any free program were i can cut off the end of the avi to fit onto a CD?
thanks

Nandub can be used, as it can manage a wide variety of audio codecs. Here is a link (http://www.doom9.org/virtualdub_procedures.htm#Splitting) to Doom9's guide for splitting .avi files with Nandub. The link takes you to a large set of Virtual Dub / Nandub procedures; search for "Splitting" to find the right section.
