View Full Version : Way to trace the steps in IFOEdit?

I'm working on the Scorpion King and viewing it with the DVD PLAY function of Ifoedit. When it first starts, it goes to a warning, then to the main menu. When I hit play, it previews another movie before starting the actual movie. Is there a way to trace the steps of what is being played here? Not the titles that are being played, but maybe the pgcs? So that I can go into the VTSM_PGCI_UT menu of Ifoedit, and bypass the preview that plays before the movie starts? Thanks.

I'm sorry, but even I can't trace this.
This entire DVD playback is done by Microsoft DirectX DVD modules.
And I get very spare information by this modules. I was lucky that it returned the title, it is playing right now. It also returnes the current played chapter and time, and that's it. Nothing more.

I got it to work somehow :) I got a new problem and one that I've read you had also. Its this error:
DVD-Video file reallocation started
File is not a DVD file format
DVD-Video file reallocation failed
In your post, you said it was because of splitting to 2 dvd-r's. I'm not doing that, it is going on 1 dvd-r. I've never, ever encountered this error before using Nero 5.5.8.0. Any idea how to fix it? BTW, the same movie in the above posts.
BTW, the final project plays fine in IFOEdit 0.932 and in Powerdvd xp.

Yea, it's a problem with a specific Nero version.
There's also a Sticky thread in this forum about this.

Didn't strip anything. I just adjusted the FIRST PLAY PGC command and told it to jump to Title 1 Menu. It worked.
