Proven working method-- the simplest way main movie only-- no subtitles, no additional languages besides English.

These are the programs you're going to need:

Claddvd XP
Download Here (http://www.whdl16709.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/downloads_rel3/cladDVDXP13.zip)

Adaptec ASPI (this unlocks the DVD without having to open with DVD Player first-- for XP Only)
Download Here (http://www.whdl16709.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/downloads_rel3/AdaptecASPIXP4711.zip)

Nero 5.5.9.9
Download Here (http://www.nero.com)

IfoEdit version 0.932

READ THRU THEN DO THIS:

Note: your hard drive must be formated as NTFS file system....................................!

Step 1. Open CLADDVD 1.3, click on "Options", "Browse", then select where you want to save your files.
Then in the Audio Streams area, always select the language you want-- ex: "English( AC3 6 ch)" (HAS TO BE "6 ch", take my word for it.) go to the split file area, select "as one big file". Leave the Angle as "default", "light key search" should be checked, as well as "No Micro vision"; then click on "save settings" button. Click on "Start" and your files will begin saving where you selected. Now, when the files are done ripping, then you want to click on "no ifo phrasing". Select "Video_TS file" and "VTS_0x_0.ifo" (The X represents a variable, depending on the files you ripped. it'll be a number-- each DVD is different-- to find out what it'll be, go to the DVD information window-- you'll see a section that says "VTS Set [0x] "that variable is your number) Now "rip selected files". Close CLADVD XP. Rename VTS_0x_0.ifo to VTS_01_0.ifo

Step 2: Open IfoEdit, click "open" (far left bottom corner). A window will appear: now go to the directory where you just ripped your files, open" VTS_0x_0.ifo", click on "Vob Extras" button.
Under "options checked" boxes, check:
"strip streams"
"correct VOB-units"
"correct ifo tables"
"create new Video_TS.ifo and VTS_01_0.ifo"
Under VOB File Options check boxes:
"remove P-uops"
"adjust Vob-unit pointers"
"adjust audio/subp pointers"
vob size should be set to "1GB" DO NOT MESS WITH "remove angles" they should NOT be checked
Under File directory paths:
"destination directory" pick a new directory for the files you are going to create now. Needs to be at least 4.7 GB. Click "ok".
New window: Stream List: check "audio1", click "strip it"

When it's all done, go to the new directory open the "VTS_01_0.ifo" click "get vob sectors". Ifoedit will automatically save after it adjusts the pointers. You're done. Now you can burn it. I use Nero 5.5.9.9.
Use the Wizard. You should end up w/a window that has the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders waiting there for you. Put all the files you just created into VIDEO_TS folder. Name your disk, (don't use spaces, use a _ or it won't work) Burn disk. Now test it out in a standalone DVD player. (Sometimes it won't work in one player but will in another...I test mine out in multiple players at Best buy...)

This is how -

1. Use step 1 procedure but rip half the chapters to one directory and the other half to another directory. Rename all the ripped movie vobs (ie. VTS_XX_1.VOB) to start at VTS_01_1.VOB. Do this for both directories.

2. Copy VIDEO_TS.IFO and VTS_XX_0.IFO from original DVD to BOTH these directories (where XX is your movie). Rename VTS_XX_0.IFO to VTS_01_0.IFO in BOTH these directories.

3. Continue with step 2 now in above procedure (Do step 2 for each of the two directories). You will have to burn 2 discs, but you have not re-encoded.

Not 100% sure, but if your movie is 100 to 200MB too big you can delete the end credits in the last cell with VOBEDIT ,providing that that cell doesn't have part of the movie.

To find out what is in A particular cell (in ifoedit) open VTS_01_0.ifo double click on cell in question & video window will
appear, use the slider bar to view contients....

you'll need to Demux the last Vob & in your movie, delete last cell & remux back.

Then you get to delete the last chapter with ifoedit.
Click on VTS_PGCITI a plus sign will appear click on it.
VTS_PGC_1 scroll down untill you see PGC program map:
Those are your chapters: right click the last chapter & delete it.

Note: you'll need to edit VIDEO_TS.ifo also.

Click on VMG_PTT_SRPT then double click on number of chapters PTT & enter your new value.

And don't forget to save your changes....................! to .IFO's
And click GET VTS SECTORS
