Has anyone noticed the difference between the original DVD movies and a backup DVD in the sound the standalone makes when playing or scanning the disk? I've noticed the original is much more consistant in the noise than the backup. It seems to make skipping sounds like it's searching around the disk as if the cells aren't in order.
Could this have something to do with stripping out additional languages, subtitles, etc?
