dvd in another pc

i have made my first dvd reading these forums thanks to every one i have one problem it works on a stand alone dvd and my pc but when i try and play it on a friends pc it does not read the disc any help greatfully accepted

this could be easy:

a dvd-rom and dvd software are required to watch a dvd on a pc
