hello to all,
i have started a project in scenarist. i have a .m2v video file and a .wav file created in premiere. in the track editor i have put chapter points and links to these chapters from title menu. the problem is when i jump to a specified chapter the video goes to the chapter point but audio strats from begining. its also same when i press the next chapter button in simulation window. video correct, audio starts from begining. what should i do to synchronize audio and video.
thank you.

Are you *sure* that the audio is starting from the very beginning at each scene?

Scenarist has a major problem decoding mpeg video and syncing it to audio. It was obviously designed for use with a hardware decoder. On a fast machine, it seems to decode video far faster than it should, which causes audio/video to be quite out of sync. It may actually have a math problem too dealing with the beginning of each cell, because I *always* have a/v sync problems when "simulating," however on a standalone (or playing the vobs through powerdvd), there are no issues at all. As long as my initial .wav and video are synced, the dolby encode syncs up as well.

Are you using pcm audio or dolby?
