How would I rip if I have already copied to HD

I was wondering how I could use DVD decrypter to rip in the situation where I have copied all the files in the video_ts directory to a hard disk. DVD Decrypter only seems to be able to pick the DVDROM as the source.

The reason why I have it on the HD is because I was using DVD2SVCD to do a rip and there was an error. Because I was short of time, I decided to copy the files to my HD and then rip it at my leisure with another program. I intended to use DVD decrypter but of course I cannot seem to find a way

Perhaps you can mount the copied files to a drive letter. Though I think it requires NTFS and I have no idea if it'll work.

make an iso out of them and mount that in daemon tools
If this is something you plan on doing often, you might as well use the 'read to iso' feature within DVD Decrypter itself. It behaves exactly like the original dvd when mounted in Daemon Tools.
There is no need to rip all the individual files.

Could you elaborate just a little on how to make an iso.

use something like prassi. Any image tool will do actually, so long as it can create UDF ISO images.

Is there a way to make an image of a 7Gig file to use in DVD Decrypter, most imaging tools will only let 4.37G.

You can read a disc to a 7GB image, but no software will let you burn it back to dvdr. The disc can only hold 4.37GB.
Its not a program limitation.

SmartRipper 2.41 will process files ripped to a hard drive. Need the IFOs and vobs in the video_ts folder.
