am getting sync problems after I import my MPV and wave file into spurceUp. I don't have this problem in my source avi from the start.
Here is my method.
I capture with Pinnacle PCTV @ 720x480 24-Bit RGB using no compression. The clip is 1 hour long with zero frames dropped...again when previewing the clip there is no sync issue.
I then encode the clip directly with CinemaCraft 2.64 turning off *Upper Field First* and setting the Timecode too 00: 00: 00: 00:, set the max bitrate 9000 bps average 8000 bps and minimum 7000 kbps. I then do a 3-pass VBR encode with no audio. So far all is well, the interlaced video looks great.
Next I extract my 48 Hz PCM 16-Bit audio from the source avi as a .wave file using VirtualDub. I have also tried using TMPG by loading the source .avi directly into TMPG and encoding it too 224bps MPEG using TooLame. I originally thought TMPEG was causing the sync issue but found the same results using a uncompressed PCM .wave.
I next change the file names of the .wave and .MPV so they are matching, load them into spruce with no errors but with a slight audio sync issue that for the life me can't figure out.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
