Monster's INC., True FPS?

Hi there,

I'm looking for a way to maximize compressibility for this movie, so naturally I'm curious if this movie is really 24fps or not. Do you guys know how I can find out what the true fps of this movie are? I'll probably have to resort to some complex decomb function if the native fps aren't FILM. :( But oh well, I want to do it right.

I used forcefilm when creating the project file in dvd2avi, because it said it was 100% film. I didn't notice any duplicate frames or interlacing so it appears it is 24fps progressive frames. This was with the widescreen angle, I didn't work with the fullscreen angle.

Hand drawn animation often goes with 12,15 or some other (weird) low FPS because it saves a lot of work, but with computers doing the heavy lifting it doesn't make sense not to use 24fps for CG films.
