After trying all the exellent audio conversion software out there Iīve decited to make one myself...Can anyone maybe tell me how to begin, were to look for guides and/or maybe some hints.
Also if anyone could tell me the rules on what part of others programmer code is okay to use in your own work (if any at all;) and what part thats not.

hi space. 10x !
GUIs are usually written in Visual Basic or Delphi. there are lots of forums about VB/Delphi programming out there, but i'm agraid i never visited anyone of them. whenever i have a VB question, i always ask DanniDin - he has alL the answers :).
about reuse of code,
well, if you publish your source-code, then i would say you could use (almost) any public code you find.
in case you wanna use a source-code you found in your program being closed-source - you must ask for the original author's permission.

Im very glad you took time off sending me a reply on this subject. For quite some time now I have been making Divx movies and compressing
the AC3 sound format..and Doom.org has been a tremendius help In learning the basic but also the more advanced ways of making Divx.:)
But now I fell an urge to find out a little more about whatīs going on behind these program codes :)
Itīs always nice to know what you are working on, It also makes It easyer finding a bug and making things better...and I think that (especially wenn dealing with video/sound compression)this Is very relevant :D
At this time Im looking into the whole visual basic subject on the net and hopefully I can learn something useful there...thx ones again and:
Peace:sly:
