2 movies on 3 dvdr

hi
i'd like to do the following
first part of movie 1 on dvd-r 1
end of movie 1 (title 1) and beginning of movie 2 (title 2) on dvd r 2
end of movie 2 on dvd-r 3

my problem is how to make a video-ts.ifo for dvd-r 2 to work

I think the easiest way to accomplish this task is to demux audio and video and split movie (2) in half. then you would have to use an authoring program like dvdit or maestro to author each disk. On disk 1 put the 1rst movie and then the first half of movie 2. etc...

that would be the ONLY feasible solution to your question. Only by reauthoring each title u can get by.
