I am having a problem with a choppy picture when I play my backed up DVD's on my stanalone player. From reading it seem that my bitrate is two hi so I used a bitrate viewer to determine my max bitrate.
Using CCE & DVD2SVCD with the default settings I encoded a movie, which resulted in a max bitrate of 3159 and an average bitrate of 1946.
I re-did the movie by with the following settings:
MIN: 600
MAX: 2500
MAX AVE: 1600.
With these setting the peak bit rate was 3083 and the ave was 1882.
How can I limit the max bitrate as the setting in the encoding tab don't seem to work?
