Hi,
I have two different dvd's both approx. 40 minutes.
Is it possible to get them on one dvd.
Seems like a mission impossible because both probabely use the same filenames. And how to let the ifo-files know when to play what?
TIA

You sure can - Use VOBEdit after renaming the files and then create new Ifo Files with Ifoedit.Derrow strikes again - All will be revealed at http://mpucoder.kewlhair.com/derrow/joinclip.html

Thanks jmonfm,
I missed that url ... there are so many knowledgebases.
The compilation consists of two dvd (manassas and America).
One is NTSC and the other is PAL.
I ripped the VOB's, renamed them and let IfoEdit make new
ifo-files. I burned the result on a DVD+RW.
One set of files seems to be o.k. but the rest resulted in video only and no audio.
I'll dig in the joinclip.html to see if I missed something(s).
Peace,

I'm not sure about being able to combine PAL and NTSC like that. I think you might have to convert one of them so that they are both the same. The program DVD2SVCD has an option to change NTSC to the PAL system - then stop it while they are still DVD Vobs before the files get converted to VCD. Then try to merge the 2 VOB Sets. I have never done this, so it is pure guesswork.
Have a look at this thread http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=34648&highlight=ntsc+to+pal
