I have a big problem with BeSweet: Iīm using DVD2SVCD 1.0.9 build3 to convert DVD to SVCD.
Always, when BeSweet TRANSCODES the ac3Stream to MP2 it crashes with the error message: NOT SCALED PROPERLY
(see the picture of the error message attached to this thread).
I ripped the DVD with DVD2SVCDs internal routines.
I already tested besweet 1.2, 1.3 and 1.4b12.
Version 1.2 shows the error message above, it doesnīt crash, but the resultig MP2 Stream has intermissions of silence afterwards.
Version 1.3 shows the error message before CRASHING.
Version 1.4b12 crashes without an error message.
I have already tested it on two OS (Windows 2000 and XP) and with several DVDs.
Here is my DVD2SVCD logfile:

sounds like you have a defective ac3 stream.
please use BeSweet v1.4 and post the logfile.

I donīt think the ac3 stream is defective, because I tested it on three different DVDs and it was all the same. Here is the logfile:

please search for all "mp2enc.dll" files on your computer and remove them.

btw

bt now, you should be able to transcode your file in one pass :-core( -input C:\Rips\Ring\Extracted_audio_1.ac3 -output C:\Rips\Ring\Encoded_audio_1.mp2 -logfile C:\Rips\Ring\Encoded_audio_1.log ) -azid( -L -3db -c normal -g 10.674dB ) -ssrc( --rate 44100 ) -2lame( -e -b 192 -m s )
