I have a DVD that I'm trying to rip with SmartRipper2.41 & every time is gets to 85% it locks-up. When it does lock-up there's no warning, nothing... just quits reading the disc and locks-up my entire Desktop. I have ripped quite a few other DVD's with no problems, just this DVD keeps locking-up.

Before the Rip I always check my SystemTray and disable just about everything to free up the 384mb of memory I have & dedicate all my resources towards the Rip. I even disable my Norton Anti-Virus during the rip and then turn it back on.

Anyway, after the lock-up, I cant use my mouse to close the rip. Alt+Ctrl+Del does not work, I cant access the Start button to ReStart Windows, nothing.

I'm forced to hit the power button and hard-boot my computer and then do a ScanDisk to get back in. Dang I hate that.

So what does this mean? Is there a scratch on the disc where
it cant read? Is it a macrovision problem? A software rip problem?
