can someone help me with a cdimage problem. It seems that some how the cd image fales when i use the defalt settings and i was wondering if ther is a way to just use the vcdxbuild imager by itself to see were the error is instead of runing the hole dvd2vcd program again. By-the-way im on a win2000 system if that means much. If theres a chapeter that i mist in the must read section just lut me know its there or a ideal were its at.
P.S. Been reading this form for about 2 months and u guys are doing a hell of a job, thinks for all the time and help.

Post your logfile.
And you don't have to redo the entire D2S conversion, just do a crash recovery from wherever it last failed.

altimateDBZ,
Thinks for the quick reply. It seems to be faleing at the second bin/cue file. Could it be it was incoded at to big of size? The bbmpeg_muxed_file001 is 1.02gig's. Is it postible i have a setting rong or need to change a defalt setting?

Actually, what I need is the DVD2SVCD logfile.
And 1.02gb does seem rather large, it is possible that you accidentally messed up one of the settings, and also possible that it's just a flat out error. We'll need the logfile to tell...

ultmateDBZ,
think u mist the last post because i did add the log file.Is this file not the one your asking for.
[log edited out since it's the same one as above]
sking for.
UltimateDBZ
28th September 2002, 00:19
Nope, that's not the one I'm looking for. It's logfile that DVD2SVCD creates in your movie directory, and displays in the log tab as conversion is progressing. The filename is dvd2svcd_log.txt
Note: I'll edit your second post, so the other log isn't in here twice... no need for the page to be so long ;)

ultimateDBZ,
OK, think this is what u ased for.By-the-way did u see the error in the log file i posted on the last line. Sounds like the image file is to big. Mabe theres a set sizes for the image file(seeing that cdrw only have so many mg). I will go over the settings mabe mest something up. Looks like to me thow in this log that the image was made without error.
P.s. will post last of dvd2vcd log because file is to larg to post all.

@jackflash44301
We are going to need the whole log file. If there was an error that was made most likley it is going to be before the image files were created. Please post the whole thing. If you need to use more then 1 spot to post it go ahead.

My guess is that you're using tmpgenc cq to encode, try raising the offset cq value to 90 and start from scratch. But to be sure do as Jason say, post the entire log.
