choppy playback in dvd player

hi ive used dvd2avi and tmpgenc to code a svcd ,now it works fine in my pc software player but in my panasonic dvd-sv10 player the picture looks great and from what i can tell the audio does aswell the only problem is its choppy a second on the counter last 2 seconds. my first try at a svcd i did,i only had the video for some reason no sound out and the video ran fine n smooth as soon as i added sound it started goin choppy, stuterin e.t.c.

yeah do as winxi has stated, also goldseal this is the dvd2vscd section not the svcd section so next time you use other software to author your movies post your questions in the proper area this post will be moved to the right section.
