Hallo,
may be this is an information may be a question:
Again there seems to be an interesting problem with SVCD-files burned with the newest NERO!
1. Used DVD2SVCD to create 2 mpg-SVCD-files from a DVD (no images)
2. Burned them succesfully with NERO 5.5.9.9 using the SVCD-option
SVCD-movies on CD can be played on my W98-Computer and a Standalone-DVD-Player but not on my W2K-Computer (TB-1400, W2K-SP3). Powerdvd XP gave an error, WMP 6.4 stopped or crashed, trying to copy the file to harddisk resulted in an "invalid MS-DOS function", filesize differs from W2K to W98. But the file itself was ok. A copy on the W98-system could be played via network with the W2K-system.
And again I made an image-file from the mpg-file using VCDimager. And WOW!, everything works now on the W2K-PC. I should mention that I tried to play SVCD-CDs which were burned with prior versions of NERO-SVCD. They could be playbacked on W2K.
