Can somebody please tell me how to extract the 2nd audiostream from a divX Film? Before you ask, I HAVE read the AUDIO FAQ, but the method described there with Nandub by setting the primary audiostream to NO AUDIO and save again doesn't work?
I was looking for another divx demultiplexer for days, but I did not find anything.

what do you mean it doesnt' work? what happens? How do you know it has 2 audiostreams?

Playbacking the file on the BSPlayer it is possible to switch between the 2 audiostreams (the first is in english and the socond one is in german). So I conclude that the film has 2 audiostreams.
What I mean with it doesn`t work: In the AUDIO FAQ it is said, that setting the first audiostream to NO AUDIO and then save the file again would have the effect that the first audiostream will be deleted, and you get an avi with only the second audiostream.
That is not right. You get an avi with 2 audiostream again, but the first one is empty, and you still canīt access the second one.
My basic intention is to transcode the avi file to MPEG and for audio I want the second audiostream of the avi so I want to extract it.
Maybe somebody can help me, would be cool.

Thanx

If you still havn't found the solution, you havn't done what is described in the FAQ exactly.
Let me explain for you:
1) Video -> Direct Stream Copy
2) Audio -> No Audio
3) Audio -> Secondary Stream -> AVI Audio
4) File -> Save as AVI and save to a new AVI
5) Open that new AVI in AVI2WAV and extract the audiotrack.

Thank YOU for your concern.
I already tested AVI2WAV, but it is only a simple little program to extract the PRIMARY audiostream. It doesīt allow to access the second one.
Do you know any other DIVX demultiplexers?

Use graphedit. It's a bit complex at first glance if your new to it, but once you figure out what DS Filters to use. It's quite simple.

I have tested it once again with no success. I have done step 1 to 5 as you described, but the wav file AVI2WAV makes cannot be opened by any program. I also tested AVI2WAV on the original avi (the one with both audiostreams) and it was the same. I analysed the avi with AVI2WAV and it said the audio is somekind of DVM stream (never heared of before) with stereo and 48kH sample rate.
Do you have a solution?
Thanx

I have downloaded GraphEdit but I have no idea what it is for and how these filters can help me.
The help file didnīt help me neither. Can you explain to me what to do now please?

Ok well first you have to render you AVI file that you created and you will see alot of filters connected to eachother. I tried to demux the 2nd audio stream but I couldn't figure it out. So frustrating. I'll get back to you when i figure it out.

Ok i found out how, I was trying to connect the audio streams to a Filewriter, but i kept getting a wierd error. The solution was to send the audio stream to a Dump Filter. You must download the audio filters pack at Doom9's download page to get the Dump Filter.

For those of you who are new to graphedit here's how it should be done.

First delete every link connected to all the other filters, except for the AVI Splitter.
Then you push CRTL-F and insert the Dump filter under DirectShowFilters. Give it a name and add .mp3 to the end.
Then you connect the Sream 02 to the dump filter.
Last you push the Play button on the top of the graph. It will be finished when you can see the green play button again.
