Attached is Decomb 4.00 rc 3 for your testing.
This version supports manual override of field matching and decimation decisions. Now you can fix those occasional intransigent mouths. :)
Refer to the help file for details.

Dude, you are my hero :p
An option to manually deinterlace specific frames would be nice too.
...now only if it had a GUI for selecting the frames, like TMPGenc...

@jarthel
Not at this time.
@Zarxrax
Let me be sure I understand you. You want to be able to force any frame to be considered combed, thereby forcing it to be deinterlaced? This would occur only if post=true. That would be easy to implement.

Well, what I am proposing is that you be able to disable all automatic deinterlacing if you wish, and then tell it to deinterlace a specific frame if it needs it.

You'd be able to do that with my proposed implementation by setting the threshold very high and then forcing the frames you want.

Ok, I guess thats ok then. One more request while I'm at it. Sometimes in an anime, the actual anime itself can IVTC perfectly, but then the ending is in pure 29.97 fps, which would be best to simply deinterlace. Can you allow for deinterlacing of ranges of frames, instead of specifying each frame individually? Or maybe, the ability to change the deinterlacing threshold over a range of frames.

Oh, is that so? I'm not too familiar with avisynth, but I'll check that out.

@Zarxrax
Some time ago I post a problem with FLCL anime, I use different parameters to try to avoid interlacing and yes I use trim. check this post

@neuron2
Mmmm... Now speaking of FLCL my problem was not gone this time, I will check this again with this new release and post later, I really love your work thank you!

Sorry but this time(and other time too) i can't upload this file :(
So I just use the new "override" and kick out the bad matched frames or decimate them :devil:
When I get the bad sequence I see that the pattern change but Telecide can't get the correct, I think that must be that I just can't find the correct settings to use, sorry. :o
Thanks for your big work, and spent time.
cheers
