I have a 26 minute episode of a TV show that I copied onto my DVD recorder. The episode begins on the file VTS_01_2.VOB and ends on the file VTS_01_3.VOB. I would like to find the starting point where the episode begins in file VTS_01_2.VOB and then combine that file with VTS_01_3.VOB(where the episode ends), to create a new VOB file of just that episode. Is there a program that can do this? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

if u have the dvd structure intact on your HD or have the original DVD disc, then start up SmartRipper select the episode u want and rip it. U will end up with the part of vts_01_2.vob and the corresponding one of vts_01_3.vob that contain the episode u want. From there u have to use vobedit's rejoin function. Just rename the vobs to vts_01_0001.vob and vts_01_0002.vob and use the join from vobedit.

I haven't used this for a long time thats why the names might not work. U can find the exact procedure from derrow's site.
