Really for newbies but pls. remember that IFOEDIT is optimised for CCE re-encoding and not for Rempeg.

It is well established that versions of IFOEDIT > .6 can, on some movies, cause small freezes in the remuxed video data stream when coming from Rempeg.

So if this happens to you and you don't like it, either wait for a new version of IFOEDIT (grin) or use version .6 which was CCE 'unaware' and so more predictable in it's remuxing (actually it's dumber but in the case of Rempeg this is a good thing..).

BTW, has anyone got/used the http://www.mediawaresolutions.com/M2-xcode-cl.html cli transcoder? I can't find an eval anywhere.... It's supposed to be a 'better rempeg'.

For starters, ifoedit will only support CCE's m2v remuxing at 100% on the new version, as it is now, only the rempeg remux works ok, so you actually garbled it all around.

Second, m2-xcode was already discussed on a thread, and some conclusions have been made. Search for it. (again).

Hey, OK... I was just trying to help, no need to flame me!

I know about the previous posts on M2 - I wrote some of them, but as it was a while ago I just thought - thought - there might be some new news on it....
