View Full Version : wrong duration mp3 file/Strange Audio output

im using the besweet to decode my *.mpa to *.mp3 file during the decoding , it say "bitrate problem, resyncing". then the audio out is beri strange to the correct one from the original .... how can i solve it.
the audio output is like been edited. all the background sound dun seem to match from the original ones

i have a mpa file type which i use dvd2avi to rip out from the mpeg2 source.
after i use besweet to encode it into mp3 the duration of the mp3 is wrong. the original duration is 44mins but the mp3 is only 18 mins.
izzit i have set wrong config in the besweet??? can anyone help mi wth this

Try this:
1) decode the MPA file to WAV, using WinAmp for example.
2) Encode the WAV to MP3 using RazorLame (GUI for Lame).
The MP3 should have the right duration then.

ps, i merged your 2 threads because i think they are for the same audio process. If not, make sure you post both logfiles.
