remux with ifoedit 6

I am still new to reencoding because I have had so many problems with freezing and I just learned about using ver 6 of ifoedit. But that version is so different I was wondering if somebody could give me step by step instructions after using rempeg to create the m2v file?
Please anyone help me...

Step 6: Add the new video stream

ReMPEG2 created a new video stream for you which we're now going to use to replace the oversized original stream.

Open up the latest version of vts_01_0.ifo in IfoEdit and select VOB extras.

This time check Re-Mux but not Rebuild PTS (that doesn't work properly yet anyway). Note that the *.m2v file for Re-Mux is now active at the bottom of the window so select your .m2v file there.

Strip Stream's and VobID's should be unchecked. Press OK to start the processing. As usual IfoEdit will make two passes, first it will write the new VOBs then it will correct the navigational pointers. It will also create a new ifo file for you yet again.

Once you're done copy the rest of the files (video_ts.*, vts_01_0.vob) to the directory where you saved the new VOBs to and then check your disc in a player to ensure that everything works as desired.

I really appreciate the reply, but I don't think that is the method I am looking for. I am having problems with remuxing rempeg m2v files with ifoedit. All resulting dvd-r(w)'s freeze up on me when in the dvd set top player or ps2, I know this is not a media problem because the only ones that freeze are rempeg'ed movies. I have found on this forum in several places that ifoedit ver .6 will not result in a freezing dvd-r(w) when remuxing. The thing I can't find and need to know is what exactly do I do in ifoedit .6 and in what order? I am only trying to copy the main movie. if somebody could help me with the full step by step instructions I would REALLY appreciate it.

click on "vob extras", leave all boxes as is, select m2v file, select destination and let it rip!

i always re-strip streams with .932 after using .6 just to be sure.
