Try www.lordofthedeals.co.uk or www.thepriceiswrite.co.uk for DVD-R media. I have got some of the new Bulkpaq Gen 3 DVD-R which I have had great success with. I have seen a post which says that it would'nt play on a PS2 but all of mine so far (About 35 discs) have been O.K. on 3 x DVD players and a PS2.
Happy Ripping.

I've tried 4 cheap brands, and found the Ritek-G03 to be the best.
I bought them in the US for $1.20 USD or £.77 in UK money. I've heard DVD-R's are expensive in Europe. I don't know what shipping costs are, but if you bought several hundred discs you may be better off, especially if you can split them with a friend.
I would not worry about having to return them, they are very high quality.
** just checked the prices here, they dropped to $1.10

I think the best ones are TDK-R2-0 Choice White Top Branded (Generation 3) 4.7GB 1X General Purpose DVD-R from cdr-by-mail.co.uk
Another option is PRINCO-R1-0, latest bulkpaq, except PS2 (at least)
