Iīm using Helix Producer 9 to encode an avs file made with GKnot. The encoding itself goes fine but in the end there comes this message:

Error: Untitled 1 File Output RealMedia File Writer Plug-in IGNORE error with UserCode 18: Failed to update file headers of "temp_zeF98jKlnkOwny_9WB1EtQ==.tmp 2002/09/25 14:10:27

The result of the encoding was about 400 MB file (should be more that 700 MB) which couldnīt be played. Does anybody know what that message means and what went wrong?

hi,

realproducer use the c:\windows\temp folder to store the tempory file during the encode process (the tempory file was named tmpXXXX=.tmp) i think u have only 400 Mo free on your c:\ hard disk . it for that realproducer can't encode the movie.

bye.

you can change that directory if that's the problem: go to "edit" and under "preferences" you can choos your temp location

Or just free some space on your C: drive.
