subs out of sync

i'm encoding a ntsc source following the dvd-9 to dvd-5 guide using maestro and cce 2.5 to the letter..

still my subs are out of sync and the further i go in the movie the more they get out of sync with the sound.. at first the subs are 0.2 sec too late and at the end it's something like a full second...

what am i doing wrong?

Yeah, me too :(
Even after Trilights pulldown/drop trick, no sync in subs.
Audio is synced perfectly.

All ideas are welcome....
