I've done a test encoding a SVCD at avg 4000 with max bitrate 5000, the encoding pass was ok but when i tryed to multiplex the mpeg (with bbmpeg) i got many many underflow errors.
Result was audio/video out of sync of about 10 sec (btw video was very good).
The question is:
1) have i wrong during the encoding pass (i've used the usual multipass vbr cce settings except bitrate), maybe i must use "particular" settings?
2) how do i multiplex an out of standard SVCD (avoiding all those underflow errors), i mean which tools should i use?

Thx 4 ur support.

Your right in thinking bbmpeg is trying to mux to the SVCD standard. To fix it click on the Program Stream Settings tab and set the Force mux rate to 0, from SVCD's 6972.
