I get this in my logfile:

11:01:52 PM: Started DivX5-First Pass: D:\outoftowners\oot.avs
1:07:04 AM: Finished DivX5-First Pass. Duration: 2 hours, 5 minutes, 12 seconds.
1:07:04 AM: Trying to open Log-file.
1:07:04 AM: Error: Could not open D:\outoftowners\oot.log
1:07:04 AM: Error: Could not count encoded Frames.
1:07:04 AM: Speed: 0.000 Frames per Second.
1:07:04 AM: WARNING: Number of counted frames differs from settings!
1:07:05 AM: WARNING: Settings: 129950
1:07:05 AM: WARNING: Counted: 0
1:07:05 AM: WARNING: Difference: 129950
1:07:05 AM: Correcting Bitrate...
1:07:05 AM: Original Bitrate = 2063 k(=1000)Bits/s
1:07:05 AM: ERROR: Correction impossible.
1:07:05 AM: Now encoding at 2063 k(=1000)Bits/s

I was wondering why it keeps occuring (2-3 times) the encoded video always ends up at about 250 mb and very blocky, not good quality.. i was wondering if it was related to the file opening error. i don't know why that error is occuring as i have the latest gordianknot version. thanks for any help!

Hi and Welcome to the Forum-

What did it say about your end credits? Are you perhaps encoding the whole movie at end credit quants?

There are lots of threads on this and related subjects. Try searching and see if any of them help solve the problem.
