divx 2 mpeg2(dvd)

hi all i must live here now how much is the rent
right the prob i have now is that im trying 2 convert Collateral Damage [DivX].avi 2 2 dvdmpeg so i can watch it on my standalone
i have done divx b4 and they all worked great
but with this one the audio is allways running out of sync im useing virtualdub 2 seperate the audio and tmpg 2 do the bizz and ideas would`nt go a mis thx in advance

I have had problems like that. Do you have to keep the original audio because one thing that could work is just doing a program encoding where the audio and video from the avi are encoded together into an mpg. Then if you needed to seperate it you could take the audio from the mpg with DVD2AVI.
