Compressing 2 cd to 1cd...

I would not call myself a newbie, but since I can't find a better suiting place to ask this, I'll do it in here!=)

Can someone please tell my a good way to compress a 2 cd-size divx film to a 1 cd-size film? And what program shold I use?
(I normally use gordian knot)

You can use Gordian Knot. This procedure, designed for captured video and DivX 3, can be found in the Gknot FAQ website:

I'd use Vdub and DivX5 rather than Nandub/DivX3, but that's me.
