I'm converting an avi file to svcd and the avi doesn't seem to have been deinterlaced when it was originally encoded.

Is there anyhting I can do to the avi file to remove the interlaced lines?

I've tried a couple of different things, but nothing seems to work.

Um... dude... have you even looked at DVD2SVCD? Right on the conversion tab, there are 5 different deinterlacing methods... :p

The avi file source is not interlaced, it's progressive. The deinterlace methods under that tab do not improve the interlaced lines because the source itself is not interlaced. The avi file was not deinterlaced when it was originally encoded.

Yes I have looked at DVD2SVCD, I've been using it for abotu a year now.:p
