Hello,

To enhance my database of movies I include information concerning the next info;

MPEG1 / 2
Bitrate Video
Bitrate Audio
Resolution

Getting this info from a ready made disc in 90% of the (x)(S)VCD's this can be done with TMPGenc by loading the dat/mpg file in De-mulitplex and waiting some second for the results.
In some cases no results are given, but loading the MPEG into BitRateViewer gives the above info too.

But still I have some VCD's that give a STREAM READING ERROR when loaded in the above 2 programs.... (While the movie plays without problems in the DVD player)

Does anyone know another piece of software that can give me this info of VCD's ?

Try PVAStrumento (but only for mpeg2)

Hi there

You may want to try Mpeganalizzatore.

Hello,

I tried a whole lot of programs in the meanwhile....and am ashamed.... I thought I really tried it all and was so common with VCDGear that I though I tried that also. But I didn't, and that one worked for video details. The audio details could be traced by fixing the mpeg with VCDGear and reading the info with WinAmp.

BTW: PVAStrumento didn't do the job either.....as didn't the mpeganilizzator

Thanx anyway for your help.
