Hi

I ususally use smartripper but i decided to try the last dvddecrypter today.
While i have no problems with smart, i can't manage to complete a rip with dvddecrypter. There's always a point where it stops. The program is busy and the remaining time is unknown. My pc then has to be restarted because i can't access to my dvdrom anymore !
I tried aspi, asapi, ... same problem.

Thanks if you can help.

What is the operating system you use?

If you use Windows 2000 or XP, then try to select SPTI mode instead of ASPI and ASAPI.

Hi justinus...

Thanks to have read my question.
Yes i have WINXP + service pack1
The default option was SPTI and this is why i tried APSI and ASAPI.
Same result however... ;(

Have you install ASPI layer? ASPI layer is needed in order to use with ASPI mode. However, there's no this layer under Windows 2000/XP. If you want to download, go here (http://www.dvddecrypter.com/download.asp) and go to Adaptec ASPI Driver. If it still doesn't work, install ForceASPI, which you can download from Doom9.org (http://www.doom9.org).

I do have the adaptec ASPI driver and I also tried an ASAPI driver Both do not work.

However i still have to try the forceASPI thing...Thanks for this tip.
I'm surprised because i have no problem with spartripper.
I'll let you know

Thanks a lot.
