joining VOBs...

I'm not directly a newbie, but I don't know in which other section I should post this. If you rip a move which doesn't cosist of one stream (like nearly all porns :))and you rip each chapter with e.g. smartripper, you have a lot of (up to 15 or so) VOB files. How can I join them or what I have to do to use them in e.g. DVD2SVCD? I mean, I have to create a new IFO file as well, right? Any help would be really apreciated. Thanks in advance...

i believe if they're numbered sequentially like a regular dvd, DVD2SVCD will do them all as if they were joined.

DVD2SVCD uses DVD2AVI, and DVD2AVI will take them in numbered order, or, you can select them in order.

I don't know DVD2SVCD well enuff to know if you can do that step manually or not, since I don't use the tool very often.

and what about the ifo file? can I use any ifo file and just add the vobs manually in DVD2SVCD?

by the time dvd2avi gets involved, the .ifo file is no longer used.
