Is there a guide how to influence what vts_ is played next ?

I need it to do:
1) when it jumps from eg vts_1 (language selection) to vts_8 (some universal trialer) to vts_2 (main menu).

I would like to get rit of the reference to vts_8 and have it jump straight to vts_2

2) I end up with eg vts_1 vts_3 and vts_7. But for Imgtool to create a correct image it needs vts_1 /2/ 3

or is there another way to have Imgtool create a comple image with missing vts_ files (missing in the sense that they are not part of the DVD I need but the rest plays fine from Ifoedit)

Where the program goes after finishing one title would be a POST command in the PGC for the title. You can find them in VTS_PGCITI of the associated ifo.
