Odd increase in CCE Speed - Field Order [Archive]

Hi!,

Please, don't shout at me for not reading teh FAQ or not searching the forum. I know whenever someone points a CCE problem lately, (s)he gets lot of kicks from the mods.

I have been trying to encode "Satte Pe Satta". Its an Hindi language movie in NTSC. Since, I want to cut the CD at specific points instead of D2S 1.0.9B3 to choose a cut point, I divided the whole movie into 3 CDs. With chapters 1-9 on CD1, 10-17 on CD2 and 18-24 on CD3. The CD1 & CD3 went well without any problem. But CD2 always crashes the CCE. Since, my CCE is ok as I can encode any other clip, I tried to look into chapters of CD2 manually.

I loaded the ECL file from CD1 and then from CD3, they both are same. When I load the ECL file from CD2 into CCE, the UPPER field first is checked. This was not checked in CD1 and CD3 (the ECL files are created by D2S). I thought, maybe D2S made a mistake so I unchecked the UPPER field first and try to encode. After sometime, the CCE speed starts increasing. I read in the forum, that CCE speed increase means a difinte creash so I stopped the encoding (this hapen when creating VAF). Now, I tried it with UPPER field first checked and the same thing while creating VAF file.

My guess is that somewhere the field order changes which causes the CCE to crash. So, I tried it with TMPG. After the muxing when I play the movie, the movie losses its sync with audio after sometime.

Guys, is there any manual way to handle the field order change? I want to use CCE as the performance is much superior. But if that's not possible, I can live iwth TMPG also.

PS: In all the CCE tries Anti-Noise filter in CCE is set to 2. I am now trying without checking Anti-Noise filter. ALso, the AVS file used is given below:

I did what manono said. The bbmpeg muxed file contains some movie and then all it has is an AVISYNTH error

The Avisynth file is in my Windows\System32 and Program files\DVD2SVCD\Avisynth. The size of the file is 200kb and the version is 1.0 beta7d. This is same file that DVD2SVCD posted sometime back in one of the thread in this forum.

The D2S 1.0.9b3 contains the AVISYNTH whose filesize is 196kb so I replaced it with the 200kb filezise as 196kb one causes CCE crashes on my machine.

Any idea, what I can do in my situation?
