Hi there.
I have captured a video off my TV however there is scrolling text along the screen througout the whole duration of the video.
Is there any way I can remove this scroling text ?
You can see a sample pic here (the text next to the TEMPO logo is scrolling):

Also I would like to know if there is any way to remove the "TEMPO" logo wich is not scrolling on the picture but is disturbing.
Thanks in advance for any help.

you could try the logo away filter, that you will find @Donald Grafts site:

You should also deinterlace ! The best experiences I had with the MAP Deinterlacer

I'm afraid there is no way you are going to repair that. I would suggest either cropping off the top or replacing it with black.

I made better experiences with the "DeLogo"-filter.
LogoAway once gave me crashes due to memory leak, but perhaps this has been fixed in the meantime.
Anyway, "DeLogo" is way more powerful, IMHO.

BTW, there are so many deinterlacers out there that I doubt that anyone on this planet has tested all of them extensively. A few days ago I discovered a (now) old deinterlacer wich is time based... Great for those who would convert those ST et al captures.

So, there is always room for a new surprise (at least for me).
Cheers,

Thanks for the replies and sorry I got here late, but the e-mail notification isn't working for me.
So anyways, I'll try those logo removing filters you suggested but what about removing the scrolling text ? which It is much more annoying than the logo and it's my main concern...
Thanks in advance.

i just opened up vdub and load my file...im configuring the DeLogo 1.3 filter...i don't understand though. How does it know where the logo is on the screen. I see all the options you can perform in removing the logo...but i don't understand how it knows where the logo is and how big it is.
