I have an AverTV Studio card and have been using BTwincap drivers for some months now. I have a problem with the drivers, when used with Ulead's software. I'd really like to hear if others have this problem too:

I can't select any other color space than RGB24 when capturing with either one of these:
Ulead DVD Workshop
Ulead Media Studio 6.5
Ulead VideoStudio 6

With the original drivers from Avermedia, all colorspaces are available, including YUY2, which is what I want. But with the Btwincap drivers, only RGB24 is visible in the drop-down selection box. But capturing in that color space produces artifacts in the captured video. Here's a screen shot of the color space/format box n Ulead's software: http://w1.837.telia.com/~u83704167/formats/

If anyone knows where the Ulead software "reads" a card's driver's color space capabilities, please let me know. I have of course mailed Ulead, but they don't care enough to reply.

I cant tell you where Ulead reads their colorspaces from but I can tell you that I am able to cap with YUY2 (in Ulead products). I am using an ATI AIW Radeon 7500 64MB.

Thanks for the info. And you're using Btwincap drivers?
What version of DirectX do you have? What OS are you running?

I tested another program from Ulead today: DVD Movie Factory.
Interestingly enough, the box for selecting color space "acts" differently. The default is RGB24 (as in all the other Ulead programs), but when scrolling down through a lot of empty space, RGB24 suddenly reappears and below it, the desired YUY2. Sadly, DVD Movie Factory relies on Ligos's MPEG filters which really suck and also, the setting to capture interlaced does not work.
