Hello All!,
I have been trying to make a back-up of Monsters Inc. For 2 days now with DVD2SVCD and everything goes well till the encoding I am using CCE.I am having it do multipass VBR=3 it seems when it gets to the last pass it gets to about 64-65% and it just stops!?....The CPU will still be at 100% like it is encoding but it is not encoding?! What Up With That?...lol...Anyway anyhelp I could get would be great. Also you have a option on Full screen er widescreen on the movie menu. Dose anybody know what IFO file I would use for full screen DVD2SVCD defaults to widescreen and I would like fullscreen.

Thanks ALL!!!

Well I found the IFO file for fullscreen and tryed it again and this time it worked!....I don't understand why I could not get it to work with widescreen but O-Well....There was 5 VOB files for widescreen and only 4 for fullscreen fullscreen was quit a bit smaller I dunno why but it was.....But I got it to work and that is all I care about...lol

Later!

In the rip it lost files so I missed the 1st 20 mins
I suceeded by decoding direct from the dvd to harddrive

I made a working backup of Monsters Inc. using DVD2SVCD with no problem. I left the default setting on just about everything. I may have ripped it with backup settings on smartripper or vstrip tho, I can't recall but I do remember something being a bit of a pain.
Wasn't the encoding I don't think tho.
Dunno, just keep with it.

@killer55:
take a look at the dvd2svcd forum. the cce - freezing is a quite common problem and there tons of posts about this issue. Try a search there, and i am sure you will find a solution...

I was able to backup Monsters Inc but I didn't use CCE, I used TMPGenc.
